Latent Semantic Indexing is often recognized as Latent Semantic Analysis. It is generally utilized to analyze documents in order to find out if there are word co-occurrences. In this process, some insight about a topic can be obtained also.

Couple of issues such as Synonymy and Polysemy can be solved with the use of Latent Semantic Indexing. So, what is Synonymy and Polysemy?
