Google Page Experience Algorithm is to be updated in Mid-June

Page Experience algorithm update has been pushed back by Google now that is going to look after the core web vitals. It is expected to be a part of the ranking signals from mid – June.

Previously, launch has been scheduled in the month of May. However, it has been shifted to June now to give ample time to the site owners to prepare themselves properly for the update.

Through a blog post, Google has informed everyone now that Page Experience Update is going to be launched in mid – June. However, it is going to work at its full pace from August’s end.

Google has said,
“We’ll begin using page experience as part of our ranking systems beginning in mid-June 2021. However, page experience won’t play its full role as part of those systems until the end of August. You can think of it as if you’re adding a flavoring to a food you’re preparing. Rather than add the flavor all at once into the mix, we’ll be slowly adding it all over this time period.”

Reason behind a gradual rollout is to see the update impact and if there are any unintended or unexpected issues with the Page Experience Update or not.
